NEW DRYER ALERT

If your newer dryer is not working properly and the control panel shows a flow sense warning indicator icon or displays code: d80, d90, or d95 – there is an issue with poor exhaust venting causing the dryer to shut down to prevent it from overheating and becoming a fire hazard. if your vent tubing becomes filled with lint in sufficient quantity to create enough back pressure, the sensor will detect the airflow restriction and give you the alarm. 

 

It could be caused by lint build-up, birds nesting in ducting, dead or alive rodents nesting in ducting, crushed or broken ductwork, or even long-run ductwork with too many 90-degree turns in them. ​
